That would make those turbines, the largest land-based turbines in the United States.
For comparison, the tallest structure in Raleigh, is about 550 feet…
For another comparison, the Seattle Space Needle, is about 600 feet…
In both cities, there is just ONE of those huge structures — not ONE HUNDRED and FIFTY!
One more comparison: the Washington Monument is about 50 feet shorter than these turbines…
